Accelara Law and the Accelara add-in for Microsoft Word

Installing the Word add-in
Sign in and open Account settings. Download the manifest there and follow the steps shown for your version of Word. The add-in works in Word for the web and in Word for Microsoft 365 (and Word 2019 or later) on Windows and Mac.
The add-in does not appear in Word
On Mac, confirm the manifest is in~/Library/Containers/com.microsoft.Word/Data/Documents/wefand quit Word completely before reopening it — closing the window is not enough.
On Windows, the folder holding the manifest has to be shared over the network and registered under File → Options → Trust Center → Trust Center Settings → Trusted Add-in Catalogs with “Show in Menu” ticked. Word needs a restart afterwards.
On Word for the web, use Home → Add-ins → More Add-ins → My Add-ins → Upload My Add-in.
Signing in from the task pane
The add-in uses the same account as the website. If sign-in is rejected, confirm the credentials work at accelara.xyz first. If the pane was working and later shows sign-in again, your session expired — sign in once more and it will persist.
Uploaded documents stay in processing
Extraction runs in the background and large documents can take a few minutes. If a document stays unprocessed for longer than that, email us the matter name and the file name.
